भुतकाल की मजबुरी को दिखाने के लिए इसका प्रयोग किया जाता है।

Note ----जब कोई काम भुतकाल में इच्छा से किया जाता है तो had+V3 or V2 का प्रयोग किया जाता है। जब कोई काम मजबुरीवश किया जाता है तो had to+v1 का प्रयोग होता है और passive voice में had to be+V3 का‌ प्रयोग होता है ।

1.मुझे एक मोबाइल खरीदना पड़ा था 

I had to purchase a mobile 

Mobile had to be purchased by me.

2.मैंने एक मोबाइल खरीदा था

I purchased a mobile /I had purchased a mobile

 1.मेरी रूढ़िवादी मानसिकता के कारण मुझे  रत्नों और राशियों पर भरोसा करना पड़ा था ।

I had to rely on trinkets and zodiac due to my orthodox mentality 

2.मेरे अंगुठाछाप भाई को  अपनी मजबूरी के कारण विचित्र माहौल में ढलना पड़ा था ।

My thumb impressor brother had to acclimatize to bizarre scenario due to his compulsion.

3.मुझे मेरे लडाकु पड़ोसी से मनमुटाव मिटाने पड़े थे वह मेरे लिए गले की हड्डी था ।

I had to patch up differences with my pugnacious neighbour .he was thorn in my flesh.

4.मेरे हताश भाई को अधुरे  ज्ञान और कठिन पेपर के कारण घबराना पड़ा था।पुर्ण आत्म विश्वास सफलता की पहली सीढ़ी है।

My diffident brother had to perplex due to fragmented knowledge and stiff paper.brimful confidence  is the first rang of success 

5.एक भव्य पार्टी में अच्छा प्रभाव छोड़ने के लिए उसे अपना श्रंगार करना पड़ा था।.

She had to embellish herself to cut a bold figure in an elegant party

6.उज्जवल भविष्य बनाने के लिए जमीन आसमान एक करना पड़ा था । शानदार जीत और करारी हारी एक सिक्के के दो पहलु  होते हैं।

The earth and heaven had to be moved to carve tinsel career.triumph and trounced is two aspect of same coin

7.उनकी विचित्र हरकतों के कारण उनको खचाखच भरी कक्षा से निकालना पड़ा था।उनके चेहरे पर प्रायश्चित की कोई झलक नहीं थी।

They had to be expelled from jam packed class due to their bizarre antics .there was no tinge of repent on his face .

8.अपराधों पर नकेल कसने के लिए  हर जगह नाकाबंदी करनी पड़ी थी  हर राहगीर की तलाशी हो रही थी

Every nook and corner had to be cordoned off to bridle over offences .each passers by was being frisked

9. नकली शराब को जब्त करने के लिए चरागाह भूमि को जब्त करना पड़ा था । चरागाह भुमि  गुंडों और गुंडागर्दी का अड्डा बन चुकी थी

The meadow had to be impounded to seize hooch .the pasture has become hub of hooligans and hooliganism

10.बिगडते बजट के कारण फालतु श्रमिकों की छंटनी करनी पड़ी थी ।

इसलिए वे आमरण अनशन की धमकी दे रहे थे 

The redundant wagers had to be retrenched  due to deteriorated budget .they were threatening to do fast unto death

पानी  मानवजीवन के लिए एक अपरिहार्य वस्तु essential/mandatory  thing  है ।धरती का पानी बहुत तेजी से घट रहा है  deplete ।लोग अपने वाहनों को अथाह पानी exorbitant  water से धोते हैं lave  । ऐसा कहा जाता है कि बुंद बुंद से घड़ा भरता है ।many a little makes a mickle 

Water is an essential part of human life .the ground water is depleting rapidly .the people lave their vehicles with excessive/exorbitant water.it is said that many a little makes a mickle .

 एक दिन हमें हमारी लापरवाही  laxity/carelessness और उदासीनता apathy  के भयानक परिणाम  dire consequence भुगतेंग नदियां rivers  और तालाबponds तपती दोपहरी  searing sun के कारण  बहुत तेजी से सुख रहे  parch हैं ।जलीय जीव aquatic creatures पानी के अभाव scarcity of water  में जन्तु तड़प तड़प के मर रहे हैं  die by inches.

We will face dire consequence of our laxity and apathy .the rivers and ponds are parching rapidly due to searing sun .the aquatic creatures are dying by inches due to scarcity of water .
