Degrees

1 degrees तीन प्रकार की होती है

Positive degree ---यह एक व्यक्ति / वस्तु के लिए काम आती है 

Ram is tall .

Comparative degree--यह दो व्यक्तियों में तुलना करती है 

Ram is taller than shayam.

Superlative degree---यह कम से कम तीन व्यक्तियों में लागु होती है

Ram is the tallest of the students.

Comparative degree

Positive  degree यह में er  लगाकर बनाई जाती ‌है

Ram is stronger  than Shyam.

उस शब्द का  er नहीं बनता है तो more लगाकर उस शब्द  की cd  बनाई ‌जाती है।

Ram is more intelligent than shayam.

2.दो comparative degree का प्रयोग एक साथ नहीं हो‌ सकता है‌‌यानि er  से बना  शब्द और‌ more एक साथ नहीं आयेगा।

You are more wiser than Ram.

3. निम्न लिखित शब्दों के साथ Than नहीं आयेगा  हमेशा to आयेगा इनसे पहले more/lessनहीं आयेगा

Prefer 

Elder

Preferable

Superior

Inferior

4.जब किसी वस्तु की तुलना अन्य ‌ वस्तु से करनी हो‌तो उस वस्तु को बाहर निकाल लिया जाता है यानी thanके बाद any other singular noun लिखा जायेगा।

Rose is beautiful  flower than any other flower in garden.

5.जब किसी वस्तु की तुलना करनी हो तो तुलना स्पष्ट होनी चाहिए ‌यानि  than के बाद that of और बहुवचन है तो those of आयेगा।

1.the climate of jaipur is hotter than that of  jodhpur..

2.the soldiers of India is braver than those of Pakistan.

6.एक वस्तु के दो गुणों की तुलना करनी हो‌तो er से बना शब्द ‌कभी काम नहीं आयेगा।

This land is more long than wide.
