Lest ---इसका अर्थ नही तो इसके बाद हमेशा should आयेगा

2.as .......as का प्रयोग समानता बताने के लिए इनके मध्य positive degree आयेगी

3.not so......as इसका प्रयोग  असमानता बताने के लिए होगा इनके मध्य हमेशा positive degree आयेगी।

Your are not so intelligent as you friend 

4.however---तो भी /फिर भी

 यह वाक्य में विरोध दिखाता है।

You are a poor however you are a kind person 

5.provide--- इसका अर्थ बशर्ते  कि 

इसके बाद that or will नहीं आयेगा 

I will  pay you provided you get the first rank

Provided*will*that 

6.not only .......but also

जब एक कर्ता एक साथ दो काम करें तो not only .......but also वाक्य के आखिर में आयेगा

I am not only  watching  but also reading a book.

जब दो कर्ता एक साथ  एक काम से संबंधित हो

A.जब दोनों कर्ता singular तो verb singular 

Not only Ram but also shyam is going to Delhi.

B जब दोनों कर्ता plural तो verb plural 

Not only my friends but also my relatives are going to Delhi

C.जब  एक कर्ता  singular or एक कर्ता plural हो तो जो but also के साथ आयेगा उसी के अनुसार verb आयेगी 

Not only my relatives but also my friend is going to Delhi

Or

Not only My friend but also my relatives are going to Delhi.

7.so........that 

यह कारण परिणाम बताता है  so कारण बताता है that उसका परिणाम बताता है 

I am so poor that I cannot deposit my fee.

8.both के बारे हमेशा and

1.I can drive both a truck and a car

2.both Ram and Shyam are driving a car.

9.but इसके साथ एक शब्द positive or दुसरा negative आता है।

1.you are beautiful but arrogant   

तुम सुंदर हो लेकिन घमंडी हो

2.you are a rich but miser

तुम धनवान हो लेकिन  कंजुस हो।
