पंखों से कुछ नहीं होता है उड़ता वहीं है जिनके सपनों में जान होती है ।

1.तीन तरह की होती है

Positive degree---TALL ,SMALL ,LARGE 

इसका प्रयोग एक व्यक्ति और वस्तु के लिए होता है 

2.comparative degree 

A.यह दो व्यक्तियों के लिए काम में आती है 

Taller ,smaller ,larger ,more expensive 

B.किसी शब्द में er लगाकर इसको बनाया जाता है और जब उसका er नहीं बनता है तब more लगाकर comparative degree बनाई जाती है।

Bigger ,smaller ,shorter 

More expensive,more beautiful,more handsome

C.Comparative degree के साथ हमेशा than आयेगा मगर। निम्नलिखित शबदो‌ के साथ to  आयेगा 

(Junior +senior+prefer+elder +preferable+superior+inferior )+to*than*more

D.एक वस्तु के दो गुणों की तुलना करनी हो तो er से बना शब्द काम में नहीं आयेगा 

1.Your Mobile is more long than wide 

2.my brother is more tall than strong .

E.तुलना करनी हो तो स्पष्ट होनी चाहिए एकवचन में than के बाद  that of or बहुवचन में than के बाद  those of आयेगा।

1.the climate of  Alwar is hotter than that of jaipur

2.the people of Pakistan are more aggressive than those of India

F.तुलना करते समय उस वस्तु को बाहर निकाल लिया जाता है यानी than के बाद any other singular noun आयेगा 

Rose is more beautiful than any other flower in Garden 

G.दो comparative degree का प्रयोग एक साथ नहीं होगा

You are wiser than shayam 

You are more wiser than shayam (wrong sentence)

More*wiser

H.comparative  degree का प्रयोग दो के लिए होगा

Which is larger : elephant or lion

I . comparative degree से पहले कोई  article. नहीं आयेगा (98%)

Ram is taller than Rahim

A.मगर वाक्य में of the two हो तो ऐसी cd से पहले the आयेगा 

She is the more better of the two girls 

B.मगर वाक्य के दो भाग हो और दौनों की शुरुआत cd से हो तो ऐसी cd से पहले the आयेगा

The more i beat him,

The more he cries
