भारत मे हर क्षेत्र में ‌महिलाओ ने महत्वपूर्ण ‌और यादगार उपलब्धियां हासिल की है ।मगर राजनीतिक सशक्तिकरण में महिलाएं नगण्य भुमिका निभाती है । स्वतंत्रता आन्दोलन के बाद महिला सशक्तीकरण की अवधारणा ने अपनी अहमियत खो दी  थी । महिला प्रतिनिधि राजनीति की बिसात पर खुद को हाशिए पर महसूस किया करती थी ।

The women have got significant and recollectable achievements in every avenues of life .but the women play trivial role in political empowerment .the concept of woman empowerment in politics had lost its significance after freedom fighting .the women representative  used to feel at margin at checker board of politics .

इसलिए महिलाओ ‌को उनका हक देने के लिए एक सशक्त राजनीतिक दखल की आवश्यकता थी ।पुरूष राजनेता राजनीति में सर्वेसर्वा हुआ करते थे और वे महिलाओं  को उनके इशारों पर नचाया करते थे । ग्लोबल जेंडर गैप 2023 की सुची के अनुसार भारत 127 वे नम्बर पर है जो अति चिंतनीय और विचारणीय विषय है । राजनैतिक दल‌ अत्यधिक ‌पिर्तसत्तात्मक ‌होते है  जहां औरतों का अस्तित्व मुक दर्शक के समान होता है।

There was need  a robust political interfere to give meed to the women .the male politicians used to rule the roost and they used to twist the women around at their little finger .India has 127 th rank according to list of global gender gap 2023 .political parties are excessive patriarchal where women's existence is akin to mute spectator.

73 वें और 74  वें संविधान संशोधन के तहत पंचायतों में आरक्षण के कारण  देश के शासन में  अविश्वसनीय और अतुलनीय बदलाव हुआ है । हालांकि ऐसी शासन व्यवस्था में महिलाओं  पुरुष प्रधान समाज के रबर स्टाम्प के रूप में काम किया है । लेकिन इस ऐतिहासिक कदम ने महिला आरक्षण के लिए नींव‌ का पत्थर डाला था और  एक शानदार पथ प्रदर्शक की भुमिका निभाई है ।

Incredible and indomitable changes have been happened due to reservation in panchayats under 73 th and 74 th constitutional amendments.although women have worked as rubber stamp of male dominated society in such regime system .but this historical step has played a vital role of tremendous torch bearer.
