1.जो शब्द noun और pronoun को विशेषता प्रदान करें वह शब्द कहलाता है।

A little  थोड़ा सा 

The little  जो कुछ थोड़ा सा

Uncountable noun के साथ होगा

Countable noun के साथ आयेगा

Some का प्रयोग सकारात्मक वाक्य में होगा ‌और वाक्य रिक्वेस्ट वाला प्रश्नवाचक ‌है तो  some आयेगा

Any का प्रयोग नकारात्मक वाक्य में आयेगा और simple  interogative वाक्य में any  होगा।

I will not purchase any book

Did you see any movie

5.fewer /less/lesser

 Fewer का प्रयोग  countable noun में होगा मगर वाक्य  में  than आयेगा

There is no fewer than fifty students in class

Less का प्रयोग uncountable noun में होगा मगर‌ than आयेगा

There is no less than fifty litre oil in the tank

Lesser का अर्थ होता है कम महत्त्वपूर्ण

6. Elder/eldest/older/oldest

Elder ‌का प्रयोग blood relation  होगा or to आयेगा

Ram is elder to Shayam

 

Eldest का प्रयोग  blood relation  होगा

Older  का प्रयोग blood relation  के अलावा होगा 

My friend is older than shayam

Oldest  का प्रयोग blood relation  के  अलावा होगा

Older /oldest  का प्रयोग व्यक्तियों के अलावा वस्तुओं और‌ इमारतो मे‌ होगा

7.later/latter/last /latest 

Later--- समय का क्रम बतायेगा

Latter --- दो वस्तुओं में बाद वाली का क्रम बतायेगी

Between  silver and iron ,the latter is cheaper 

Last सबसे अंतिम 

Ram is my last buddy 

Latest अब तक अंतिम

1.इनके साथ plural verb or their नहीं आयेगा

2.इनके साथ singular verb or his आता है
