What is Shylock 's stance on the bond and the law in this passage 

The merchant of venice is a novel which had been written by William Shakespeare.in this novel Shylock was a money lender who gives money to the Antonio at very high interest .Shylock has no mercy and leniency towards anyone .he was excessive miser .he was close fisted person .he h money mania only .he claims a pound of flesh from Antonio.he was adamant and rigid person .he wanted to fulfil this agreement at any cost .he refuses to show any type of mercy he had deem enmity between him and Shylock .this is story of an excessive miser money lender and a merchant 


2.how does Duke of venice attempt to influence Shylock 's decision ?

Duke of venice tried to get mercy and leniency of Shylock .the Dule hoped that Shylock will show humanity towards antanio .but money is miser God for Shylock .so he did not show any type of mercy and leniency towards anyone Duke of venice had requested to him to show forgiveness and compassion towards Antonio .but there was no hope of leniency and mercy from this miser person 


Law question 

 1.,what remedies are available to an aggrieved party in case of breach of contract .

If anyone of party does not perform his promise then breach of contract will be taken place the aggrevied party have following remedies in the case of breach of contract.

1.suit for recission 

Recession of contract means cancellation of a contract .when one party breaches the contract then another party can rescind the contract .

A promises to deliver 100 tons of sugar to B on certain date and price .but A do not deliver .here B can rescind this contract .

2.suit for specific performance 


Where money cannot be determined or money is not adequate for any goods or any immovable property.in this case any aggrevied party can demand for specific performance.so in some special cases aggrevied party can demand for specific performance 

3.suit for injunction

When money is not adequate relief then aggrevied party can take injunction to prevent another person to do that work 

Warmer brothers versus Nelson 

In this case an actress had agreed to act for warmer brothers.but she entered into contract with X to act in his movie .here warmer brothers could have taken injunction to prevent her 


Suit for damage 

If any party can commit breach of contract then aggrevied party can take monetary compensation from another person .he can take ordinary or nominal damage damages are given by way of communication.

Suit for quantum merit 

According this principle a person can recover compensation according the work which has been done by him.if any party has not performed a contract fully .then he can take compensation according the work has done by him .
