किया तो था 
भुतकाल में किसी काम पर जोर देने के लिए इस नियम का प्रयोग होता है
इसका अर्थ होगा किया तो था 

1.भारी भीड ने शहीद की समाधि पर पुष्प चक्र चढ़ाया तो था लेकिन उसकी याद में रक्त दान शिविर का आयोजन नहीं किया ।
The massive crowd did put wreathe on martyry but blood donation camp was not orgy in his commemoration.

2.जल्दी ठीक होने के लिए उसने रामबाण औषधि ली तो‌‌ थी मगर एक अनाड़ी डाक्टर ने मेरा ‌इलाज बिगाड़ दिया था
He did take panacea to recuperate soon but a tyro doctor botched my treatment.

3.उसने मुझे घिनौनी चाल में फंसाया तो था मगर मैंने  उनकी योजना पर पानी फेर दिया था
He did entangle me into  heinous ploy but I foiled his  plan at the eleventh hour.


4.मैने चोरी छिपे उनके संदिग्ध व्यापार को देखा तो था लेकिन डरपोक प्रव्रति के कारण मैंने ‌काले धंधे का खुलासा नहीं किया
I did peep through his shaddy business but I didn't disclose his murky business due to my sissy nature.

5.उसने  रातों रात अमीर बनने‌ के लिए नकली नोट चलाए तो थे मगर आखरी वक्त पर वह कानुन  कीआंखों में धुल‌ झोंक गया था ।
He did circulate counterfeit notes to make a quick buck but he had thrown dust into law's eyes.

इसका प्रयोग भविष्य में आमंत्रण के लिए किया जाता है।
1. क्या आप बढ़ती छेड़छाड़ के प्रमुख कारणों पर प्रकाश डालना चाहेंगे।वे लडकियो पर अश्लील टीका टिप्पणी कर रहे थे।
Would you like to shed light on rudimentary reasons of soaring molestation.they were passing lewd remarks at the girls.
2. क्या आप इस नवनिर्मित  धर्मशाला  का अनावरण करना चाहेंगे ।  इस धर्मशाला में पदयात्री दोपहर का आराम करेंगे ।

3. क्या आप छात्रों को प्रोत्साहित करने के लिए एक प्रभावशाली  भाषण देना चाहेंगे ।
