Define a Contract of Indemnity under Section 124 of the Indian Contract Act, 1872. Explain the rights of the indemnity holder  with suitable illustrations. 







Question 2 (10 Marks)

What is a Contract of Guarantee ? Explain the discharge of a surety by variance in the terms of the contract  and by release or discharge of the principal debtor with examples.
