Past Perfect Continuous Tense –

Sub +had been +v4+ object+since/for+time 

1. मैं दो घंटे से अपना होमवर्क कर रहा था।

I had been doing my homework for two hours.

2. वह सुबह से मेरा इंतजार कर रही थी।

She had been waiting for me since morning.

3. बच्चे एक घंटे से टीवी देख रहे थे।

The children had been watching TV for an hour.

4. हम कई दिनों से इस समस्या पर काम कर रहे थे।

We had been working on this problem for many days.

5. शिक्षक आधे घंटे से विद्यार्थियों को पढ़ा रहे थे।

The teacher had been teaching the students for half an hour.

Past Perfect Continuous Tense

Structure: Subject + had been + Verb-ing + Object + since/for + time.

1. मैं दो घंटे से अंग्रेजी पढ़ रहा था।

I had been studying English for two hours.

2. वह सुबह से खाना बना रही थी।

She had been cooking food since morning.

3. वे तीन साल से इस स्कूल में पढ़ रहे थे।

They had been studying in this school for three years.

4. राम एक घंटे से क्रिकेट खेल रहा था।

Ram had been playing cricket for an hour.

5. हम सुबह से तुम्हारा इंतजार कर रहे थे।

We had been waiting for you since morning.

6. बच्चे दो घंटे से पार्क में खेल रहे थे।

The children had been playing in the park for two hours.

7. वह 2019 से इस कंपनी में काम कर रहा था।

He had been working in this company since 2019.

8. मेरी बहन एक सप्ताह से परीक्षा की तैयारी कर रही थी।

My sister had been preparing for the examination for a week.

9. किसान सुबह से खेत में काम कर रहे थे।

The farmers had been working in the field since morning.

10. बारिश दो घंटे से हो रही थी।

It had been raining for two hours.
