1.not only ...........but also

A.इसका अर्थ होगा 

केवल यहीं नहीं          बल्कि वो भी 

I am chopping off vegetables

मैं सब्जियां काट रही हुं।

I am scolding my prankish children 

मैं अपने शरारती बच्चों को डांट रही हूं।

I am not only chopping off vegetables but also scolding my prankish children.

B.not only के बाद but also आयेगा।

C.जब एक कर्ता एक साथ दो काम करता है not only .......but also का प्रयोग वाक्य के आखिर में होगा।

A.i am not only watching a didactic movie but also eating yummy food.

मैं केवल एक शिक्षाप्रद फिल्म ही नहीं देख रहा हूं बल्कि स्वादिष्ट भोजन भी खा रहा हुं।

B.i will sell not only my commodious  field but also my enormous house.

मैं केवल  अपना लंबा चौड़ा खेत ही नहीं  बल्कि अपना  बड़ा मकान भी बेचुंगा।

Note ---- not only .....but also के साथ एक जैसा expression आयेगा।

2.not only .........but also 

जब  दो कर्ता एक साथ‌ कोई एक काम करें तो not only ...........but also से वाक्य शुरू होगा।

Ram has robbed your coffer.

Shayam has robbed your coffer

Not only Ram but also shayam has robbed your coffer .

A.जब दोनों कर्ता एकवचन‌ हो तो verb एकवचन आयेगी ।

A.not only Ram but also shyam is making a noise in jam-packed class.

केवल राम ही नहीं बल्कि श्याम भी खचाखच भरी कक्षा में शोरगुल  मचा रहा हूं 

B.जब दोनों कर्ता बहुवचन हो तो verb बहुवचन आयेगी 

B.not only my colleagues but also my neighbours are attending my wedding function.

केवल  मेरे सहकर्मी ही नही बल्कि मेरे पडौसी भी मेरा विवाह समारोह में शामिल हो रहे हैं।

C.जब एक कर्ता एकवचन हो और दुसरा बहुवचन तो जो  कर्ता but also के साथ आयेगा उसी के अनुसार verb आयेगी यदि वह  कर्ता  एकवचन तो verb singular or वह कर्ता बहुवचन हो तो  verb plural आयेगी।

1.not only my friend but also my relatives were grabbing my copious estate.

केवल मेरा दोस्त ही नहीं बल्कि मेरे रिश्तेदार भी मेरा अथाह जमीन जायदाद हड़प रहे थे।

2.not only my  children but also my wife has obeyed my orders.

केवल मेरे बच्चे ही नहीं बल्कि मेरी पत्नी ने मेरे आदेशो का पालन किया है ‌

2.यदि वाक्य की शुरुआत ‌ क्यों कि से हो ‌तो उस वाक्य में इसलिए को दिखाने वाला शब्द नहीं आयेगा 

A.यानि वाक्य की शुरुआत  since/as/because से हो जिनका  अर्थ होगा क्योंकि तो उस वाक्य में so /hence /thus/therefore कभी नहीं आयेगा ।इनका अर्थ होगा इसलिए 

B.यानि since/as/because के वाक्य में so/hence/thus/therefore नहीं आयेगा 

C .दो वाक्यों के बीच में कोमा आयेगा कोई conjuction नहीं आयेगा।

A.since you are a  miser ,you cannot give a single penny to me .

क्योंकि तुम एक कंजूस हो इसलिए तुम एक फुटी कौड़ी भी नहीं दे सकते हो।

B.as you are an brave soldier,you will fight tooth and nails against Pakistan.

क्यों कि तुम एक बहादुर सैनिक हो इसलिए तुम पाकिस्तान के खिलाफ पुरी ताकत से लड़ोगे ।

क्योंकि वह एक भ्रष्ट पुलिस आफिसर है इसलिए वह एक सोची समझी गई हत्या को दबा देगा ।
